Aiming High for Disabled Children funded by Action for children

Our Helping Hands service provides coordinated family support for parents with children aged 0 – 18 years. We offer both practical and emotional support to families to achieve the following:

Dance with a qualified teacher at a local dance school
Skiing with a qualified coach at Festival Park
Multisensory play at Dimensions
Swimming
Pony riding
Go carting
Wall climbing with a qualified coach
Welly walks at local parks

How will this project help your children

Children learn new skills, build confidence, learn to share and take turns, make decision’s, socialise, make new friends, learn the rules to games, count, be imaginative, access technology.

It helps their communication & language development as well as their understanding of the world.
